The 'Sparkling' version of Torsten Rüther's 'Uppercut' had its European premiere at CineStar's KulturBrauerei Cinema in Berlin on the 17th January in the presence of cast members Luise Großmann, Ving Rhames, Joanna Cassidy, Scott Monahan and Andrew Ibach​​
