ARD shortlists "Sohail - the lost child" for their 2022 Documentary Film Competition

"Sohail – Das verlorene Kind" (Sohail - the lost child) aka "Kabul 8/15", was shortlisted by the Consortium of German Public Broadcasters "ARD" as one of the five finalists of their 2022 Documentary Film Competition.

To be filmed by award-winning documentary director Jakob Gatzka, the project was introduced to the public in August through a live online discussion with the exceptional participation of General David H. Petraeus, former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency and former Commander of U.S. and ISAF forces in Afghanistan, and Dr. Ralf Stegner, Member of the German Parliament (Bundestag) and Chairman of the Investigation Committee of Afghanistan in the German Bundestag.
